A BIG thankyou from Pip and a little update.....

Just thought I would add an update to Pip's recent post under general doggy chat section last week.
First of all, a big thank you from us all - Pip's treatment (dust mite/storage mite allergy) costs a good few pennies and it's wonderful that this organisation exists to enable Pip to get the treatment she needs - fingers crossed she is better soon...
Pip has been in her new forever home since mid September after being in foster with Karen and Neil for around 6 weeks. She has settled really well and is a joy to have around - Millie loves her dearly and their different personalities compliment each other perfectly
. They are never far away from each other and enjoy playing or just chilling together. Pip is full of fun and mischief and is so loving despite the aggravation her skin causes her.
Her skin was pretty good when she came to us, she was just finishing a course of steroids and antibiotics that had made a massive difference (along with the love and care from Karen and Neil
) Unfortunately Pip did not respond to Atopica which the vet prescribed as her itching/scratching and subsequent damage caused became worse once steroids were stopped. She is currently having a course of eye drops because her eyes were so sore from the scratching. She has started her immunotherapy and will have her next dose this Wednesday and the hope is that, in time, this will do the trick. She definitely doesn't look her best at the moment but still manages to look cute and is typically labradorable!!
Here's a few pics taken recently (sorry if they're a bit fuzzy) of my two gorgeous girls...

I've heard of good results being achieved with the immunotherapy, so fingers crossed Pip will soon be feeling much less itchy bless her
