Dogs are such a worry

Among other things recently with Mr G being at the vets and our major scare with him we learned a lot about eyes , Patty pug had hurt her eye so the saga began its been many many weeks and expensive and at times harrowing her eye was terrible and at one point we discussed her losing it one thing all the way through everything was explained to us I never knew how complex the eye is and when felt it wasn't getting better it was improving we learned how the eye is made up and that there were so many different types of drops all achieving results in different stages of the treatment we can now see the whites of her eye which is good another plus is that we dont have to wrestle her to the ground to get the drops in she sits there patiently Her appointments have each included having dye in her eye sometimes twice or more a week.
Im not sure what caused Pats eye in jury but Vets Chris and Jess ( at Hillcrest ) said it could be a simple scratch on the lens so lets be wary when dogs run into brambles etc. Pats was very ulcerated its been tough but getting better.
Also learned that sadly some insurer's bump up their policy prices when a dog gets old I feel thats unfair as thats often when you need it most
