Never was there a closer bond between child and dog.
When we moved here sadly Minnie died it was a big shock to us as she was only 2 and a half.
It was really hard to tell Shelley as she was her "Special" dog.
One lovely day Shelley went into our Garden,she came in and Mattie was asleep in her bed and the other dogs were in she went back out again then she came in and said "Nan Ive just seen Minnie in the garden,"I said "have you ?" she said "yes I came in and checked that Mattie was here but I knew it was Minnie".
Later that day I aksed her did she have any worries and it came out she was being picked on at school so I said maybe Minnie was just telling you that she was still here and watching over you.
Some days later Shelley was in the garden again so I went down and asked her what she was doing,she said i wish Minnie would come back again,so I said to her that she had gone back to heaven but was watching over her and if sge needed her she would be there but she may not see her but she would be there.
Its 5 years ago yet she still remembers that day and still remembers Minnie.
