Update on Jude.....

This was him originally

and then this lovely family stepped forward:

Hi All,

Just wanted to update you on Judes progress. Jude has really settled in well now, he now sleeps on a bed in my hallway ~ for a few weeks he only slept in the porch and got very stressed when he was in the house, although on Friday I left the stair gate up and he was lying on my rug in the bedroom ~ cheeky boy!!

He likes his food now and actively reminds me that it's 7am and 7pm, and I wrap his glucasomine tablet in pate which he has as a treat just after his dinner. Jude is trying all new foods at home and I can confirm that sausages & pâté are his absolute favourite!! I've also got him on T/D ( a few just after his dinner) to help clean his teeth ~ he used to drop them when he was chewing but he now realises that if he does that Megan eats it so now he's able to chew and keep it in his mouth.

Megan and Jude get on really well now often lying together on my rug in the lounge and always up for fun and frolics on their walk!! Saturday Jude decided that he was going to walk through the muddiest puddle and then lie down right in the middle ~ quickly followed by Megan, so it was wash time again when we got home!! I've attached a picture I took of them yesterday in the forest near to me ~ a place Jude & Megan love!!

Jude is such a lovely sweet boy, he gets on with everyone and loves to play with other dogs, I take him to my friends farm where he plays with the sheep dogs etc.. He is always really tired when we get home and snores for England!! Saturday coming we are off to a dog fun day so hopefully he will enjoy that

We are all going away next week to a cottage in Devon ~ it's near the sea so I bet he'll love it!! I'll update again soon, I'm happy for Judes updates to go on your web page, I just don't know how to do it myself!!

With best wishes,

Tracey, Megan & Jude xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

The photo of Jude brought a tear to my eye too. He looks absolutely fantastic. I had the privelige of taking Jude out when he was at the kennels- he was such a sweet gentle boy. So glad he has found a good home and is very much loved :)

I'm so happy to see this old boy doing so well. He looks younger now then when we saw him at MKF. Great photo of 2 gorgeous Labs and certainly one worthy of a place in the 2010 calendar.
