Well, after bothering Glenys so much last week, I popped over to the rescue on sunday to meet Jay. Seemed like a match made in heaven so off we when back to Holmfirth where he seems to have settled rather well although the cats are not overly fond of him yet. He has been to his 1st training class & did really well. I'll post some pics once I've worked out how to do it.
Thank you for letting me have the oportunity to adopt Jay.

I don't remember seeing Jay on the site so I look forward to seeing some pics when you can.
I'm sure that cats will get used to the fact that there is a new addition to the household soon.

I think Jay was only with Glenys for a couple of hours so I guess he didn't make it onto the website!
Glad I found him as he has been such great company & a cheeky chap to boot!

Ahh! He's lovely. How old is he? I assume that Jay is the cheeky chap you refer to not the chap he's sitting on?!!

Ha ha Jay is 15 months old and certainly acts it. He's great fun & seems to be my shadow at the minute! Maybe he's a little insecure as it's all new to him.
I didn't quite realise how much they love water though. Glenys mentioned this on sunday but I (having a moment) though she meant drinking it, not swimming. Can't seem to get enough of it!

That's made me laugh, Jay has followed me into the loo twice today, so nosey!!
Just need to get over his agression with other dogs, but I'm lead to beleive he has been picked on by 3 other males so I guess it's understandable. Lots of time and patience required.

Both Max and Jay are young enough to train so I'm sure that they'll both be perfect examples of good behaviour very soon. I met Alison's Max last weekend and he is absolutely lovely.

Aww sorry I got there before you.
He's such a great dog.
He's played with a female & seemed ok, but then the next female & him didn't get on, so not sure why, but he's having training lessons so hopefully things will change soon.

Give Glenys a call. That's what I did. Had a chat & she told me Jay was coming in so I went over on Sunday.
She's posted Wilson who looks gorgeous.

Hi K
Your not far from me, Holmefirth is just over the hill from us. Our favourite Sunday dinner is at the Fox House on the road that leads to Holmfirth
We adopted Jay ( formerly Bay ) from Glenys and can't believe how lucky we are to have been adopted by Jay

Ok thankyou.
I was just looking at wilson, he looks really cute.
We are looking for 1 a little older though, Im worried it might eat up the house. If I wasnt renting it wouldnt cross my mind.
Supose I could always give her a chat and find out what hes like.
Did you have to have a house check etc?
How long did it take?
