Labrador Rescue

Hi everyone
Just thought I'd share a few pics of our most recent addition ... Sweep.

Sweep is an honourary labrador, being deerhound and something cross! He's about 4 months old and joined us last weekend.

Coco is so laid back and completely unfazed by him. The cats are wary but Tiger has now put him in his place and Smudge hisses at any dog who dares get too close.

Ben and Willy are enjoying the games but are teaching Sweep when enough is enough. Excuse Simon's bare feet inthe pic above!!!

We're having lots of fun here. It's only with a young'un in the house that I realise how old and ploddy my lot have become. The pic below ... Sweep's made sure he's going to be the warmest and got in the middle of the other three!!!

Gorgeous pics!!!! Thay are all adorable!!! And just for the record Alison we have same tatse in furniture too, i have same unit as u from Ikea!!!1 Hahahaha!!!!

Jackie ... don't buy a poang leather chair. They seem to be irresistible to deerhoundx puppies!
Do you have the same problem with the unit's glass door, in that my lot seem to think its for headbutting when they see their reflection? LOL!

Gemma ... he aint much of a scrap ... little devil's grown 2 inches in 4 days! He was 14" to shoulder on saturday and tuesday he was 16"!!!!! Think he's gonna be a bit big!!!

He's gorgeous and it's lovely to see all the menagerie getting on so well.

Oh he is a little sweetie!!

He is ssoo gorgeous, he has the sweetest face. Pleased everyone is getting along well, you certainly have your hands full Alison! I love the one of them all waiting for a treat where he is at the front, bet he is a plucky little thing, he looks like he will be quite a character :)

What a Sweetie. He looks adorable. If he has 2" inches from last Saturday he will over take the other dogs. Let us hope he stays a sweetie

Dad was deerhound, mum is a cross greyhound and something. There were 9 in the little, 5 smooth coated and 4 broken coated and they were handed in to boxer rescue. We saw our vet on friday (for microchipping) and she reckons he'll probably be greyhound sized, or a little smaller than deerhound anyway. He has retractable legs so Im not worried! I've had a deerhoundx before so Im used to their sometimes determined characters.

Jackie ... he looks plucky ... you're not wrong. He's a little demon at times and an absolute darling at others.

He starts puppy classes tomorrow ..... should be amusing!
