Labrador Rescue

Saw Chris's link earlier: here are two cottages by us that both take dogs. They are a two minute walk from Camus Darach beach (Ben's beach in the film 'Local Hero' and Ewan McGregory's favourite place on earth)! Close to Mallaig for trips to the Skye, and Arisaig for trips to the Small Isles (all ferries allow dogs). Best of all, you get to meet my three!

Hi Julie, We're trying to find somewhere near arisaig for 2nd week in March but Rum cottage is all booked up and Eigg Cottage looks like it might be too (they've yet to say for definate) - any other places close by that you know of??!!

Hi Lucy. If you go on 'Road to the Isles' web site, and click on the accommodation link, it shows you all the self catering accommodation in the area. Let me know if you get sorted but hopefully Eigg Cottage will be free! Julie

Me again Lucy! Don't know what it's like inside but Derryfad cottage is in a good location - not sure if they take dogs but their web site says they have vacanices in March.

Hi Julie, Well it's all booked for a short break at Eigg Cottage starting on 7th March Really looking forward to it - especially seeing Tasha on the beach maybe we'll see you while we're there!
