Charlie update

Well folks, it's 6 months today since Glenys let us adopt Charlie. :bounce:
It's been a very difficult time for me one way and another, a lot has happened- BUT what can I say about my lovely Lad? He's a total delight.
I know I'm totally biased  but people comment on how handsome he is,and he's such a good boy. It has taken him a while to settle in (and Rosie was definitely The Boss ),but this last month or so his personality has come out more-lots more tail wagging, playing and a bit of a cheeky side to him as well. :1956: He's almost 22 months old now (and we're his 3rd, and forever home) so I'm not sure if it's his age or whether he just feels secure at last. He tries to push the boundaries with poo eating and selective hearing on the recall, but I'm tightening up the training and we'll sort it out-with Cesar Millan's help. Other than that, well he's just gorgeous. You should just see him when he's falling asleep sucking his comfort blanket or his teddy! :1971:
When we are out walking in the woods or fields and he's trotting along with his ears flapping and his lovely smiley face!- Well I feel truly Blessed.
He brings such joy to me, I can't thank Glenys enough for allowing us to have him

love Alison & Charlie (Lancs) XXX

I am so pleased for you as well as Charlie. :1952:

So sad that during such a short period of time he had 3 owners already. He is a lucky boy that he finally found love and plenty of TLC - He can now relax and start enjoying life to the full :bounce:

Labs seem to have this magical ability to love life to the full and to bring so much happiness to us humans.

PRICELESS !!!
Best wishes for your future together.

Great update on Charlie Alison, I think I can remember his picture on the site, was the picture taken of him in the back of the car? If so his is a gorgeous boy. Pleased he is starting to settle, no doubt these things take time particularly given his background.

Pleased he has brought some sunshine into your life, I know things haven't been easy for you all of late. I loved what you said - he makes you feel truly blessed, I know the feeling, Labradors are so special :1971:

That absolutely sums up labs and why we feel so down when we don't have one or two in our lives!
