Teeny Tiny, Pee Wee, Bella

Well, Bonnie has a new friend! She doesn't exactly appreciate her fully yet, but she will (when she gets a bit bigger)
Of course, we are talking about Teeny Tiny here, new name to be Bella, but at the moment it's Pee Wee, cos she does loads of little pees! LOADS. Are you following?
Pee Wee marched into the house and promptly claimed it as her own....and Bonnie's toys...and kong.....and every one of her beds. She instantly set about "killing" the honking pigs, Quackers the duck, Erminemoo the cow, the chicken and the dragon. She is sooo tiny but with HUGE character, she has had us crying with laughter at her antics, Bonnie doesn't know what hit her and is asking when we were taking this little nuisance back? To be fair to Bella (Pee Wee) in all my time as a pet sitter and owner, I have never seen a pup who is so happy to play with herself for hours...the bigger the toy she can find the better! She likes to sleep ON your feet while cooking, knows what no means, doesn't mind going out in the rain, runs everywhere at top speed and is just full of joy.
We recently tried to introduce a friend for Bonnie in the form of an adult boy. The initial meeting was fine and she held her ground and told him off when he got a bit rough and tried to hump her. They traveled home in the car together well and had a run around with a ball in the field quite happily sharing. But as soon as they were indoors Bonnie went very introvert, wouldn't tell him off and hid behind Mum when possible...the poor dog wasn't actually doing anything wrong. She ended up hiding in the kitchen, and from there, upstairs(never goes upstairs on her own) so we decided for the sake of both dogs to call it a day.
And in comes a tiny scrap called Teeny Tiny, a lab in tiny miniature with the temperament of a terrier and appetite of a healthy lab. Bonnie is a small lab, but as the photos will show, she dwarfs the pup and seems worried about standing on her! They have now started playing and Bella gets a gentle growl warning if she oversteps the mark, when she will then go off and play on her own. They are good at meal times and happily swap kongs (hilarious) Bella made a lot of noise initially when put to bed in her crate but then slept till woken for a pee at 3.30 am, after which she made a hell of a din at being put back to bed…maybe she will have woken the dreadful neighbours..HAHAHA
Our lives are now permanently changed and once Bella is big enough, I’m sure Bonnie will really enjoy her new friend, as she does my sister’s dogs.
The reason we chose Bella for a name is that it means beautiful and oddly when I said I liked Bella to Dave, he said he had thought that name as well. As we have no idea how big she will be and thought that would do for a little’un or a medium’un.
Below are some picture of Bonnie and Bella in her forever home.
