Received this from Marios new family, now named Max...Thankyou to Catherine & Peter for giving this boy a lovely new home.

I thought you might like a quick update on how Max (formerly Mario) is getting on since we picked him up on Sunday. We thought we'd give him a more doggy name, hence Max.
He really is lovely and seems to have settled in well - his coat gets shinier by the hour!
He's very happy in his basket under the stairs and makes no noise in the night. he hasn't chewed anything he shouldn't - yet and hasn't tried to open any doors! He loves sitting by our chairs watching the television, just close enough to us so we can see him.
At the weekend he'll be off up to Northumberland to more new smells and experiences......
