Barney

Post by Andrea Y »

We have recently adopted a golden labrador called Barney. He travelled very well from the rescue to our home and is settling in very well. :hello1:
We took him to the vets the following day and he weighed 41kgs, so we are trying hard to help him loose this weight, with plenty of long walks daily.
Barney was pulling on the lead a lot and thanks to Carol's suggestion we have tried a harness and it is helping.
I will try and put a photo of him on here soon.
Happy dog walking.
Andrea, Steve & Barney.

Welcome to the site Andrea, Steve and Barney. :hello2: Congratulations on your adoption of Barney, I hope you all have a long and happy life together. :love6:

We adopted Molly in October 2008 and we have never looked back. Molly weighs in at a healthy 43kg, but she is a big girl.

Looking forward to seeing piccys of Barney (we all love piccys on here) and reading your updates.

:occasion7: Welcome and I'm glad to hear Barney has settled in so well and like others have said we love photos on here :1963:

We adopted George in May 2009 at 10 months and he is a big boy, his ideal weight is 41 kg according to the vet but we've just had him weighed and he was 43kg so we've cut his food and treats down until he's back to normal.

Looking forward to hearing more about your adventures with Barney.

Barney Update

Post by Andrea Y »

Since Barney became one of the family last March, he's enjoyed long walks, lots of play and a fab holiday in Wales. He's now a very sporty 32kgs, having lost 10kgs.

He's a very happy, active dog :1956:

Happy dog walking!
